Sundays in June, July, and August, join us for Pop-Up Yoga at the library taught by instructors from WithLoveDC. WithLoveDC is a movement to spread love, joy, and acceptance throughout the District. The Practice With Love classes aim to create an accessible space for all people to tune into their breath while enjoying the amazing spaces around our beautiful city. Join our instructors Tuesdays at the Georgetown Neighborhood Library for a free one-hour yoga class. Our 10 a.m. gentle yoga class is designed to accommodate all skill levels and ranges of motion, especially targeting adults ages 55+.July class schedule: Tuesday, 7/5 Tuesday, 7/19 Monday, 7/25 **No classes on Tuesday, 7/12 or Tuesday, 7/26. The 7/26 class will move to Monday, 7/25**

Please join us for a weekly restorative yoga practice. Instructors from Yoga Activist will lead the class, incorporating yoga props such as blocks, blankets, and bolsters for support. Come to the mat to relax, stretch, and strengthen. All levels welcome.

Child Yoga

Summer Adult-Child Yoga Program

The Palisades Library is piloting an Adult-Child Yoga class for the summer. Led by instructor Dexter Sumner, this class will guide adults and children through the basic principles of yoga, breathing exercises and poses. Learn the many benefits of yoga, from flexibility and strength to creating confidence and peace of mind.  All levels welcome. This class is recommended for adults and children 6 and older. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.

Viniyoga Mondays

Have a balanced autumn with the help of Viniyoga, a type of gentle hatha yoga. After many requests we were able to expand the class schedule. Each class is 75 minutes long and will be seated on a first-come, first served basis. Please bring your own yoga mat.
