Meet Cubetto!

Come meet the Library's newest robot - Cubetto!Cubetto is a play system designed for young children to discover coding and problem solving without screens. Cubetto is designed with pre-literacy in mind and is easy to use! Children can come play with the small wooden robot and take it on adventures with colorful themed maps and an intuitive control board. Cubetto goes where you tell it to! Drop in anytime between 4 - 5 p.m. to explore!

The Parklands-Turner Neighborhood Library has a terrific collection of comic books and graphic novels.  Each month, library staff will select a popular title for you to enjoy. Children are encouraged to visit and read in the library, or check out the selected comics on display.  Better still, kids can select any comic titles from any library across the city and have them delivered to Parklands-Turner, especially for you!

This story time is designed so the baby will be in their caregiver’s lap and the grownup is actively involved in the program; it is recommended that each child have their own adult with them.

Process-oriented art focuses on what can be learned from the act of making art rather than the product.
