Baby Lap Time

A story time experience for our youngest library users and their caregivers. These 20-30 minutes story times introduce books, songs, rhymes, tickles, and bounces developmentally appropriate for children from birth to when they start walking.  Baby Lap Time is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the joys of reading in a positive and fun atmosphere.

Join dogs from People Animals Love (PAL) for a special story time featuring a dog story read aloud and time to meet and read with dogs. A great opportunity for your budding reader to get some reading practice in with an attentive and patient audience.  For children ages 4 and up. For the safety of the children and the dogs, children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult.

An evening story time where pajamas are encouraged but not required. These 30-40 minute evening programs are designed to delight children of all ages. Filled with stories and activities that promote and develop language skills and imagination, these programs encourage children to develop a lifelong love of reading and learning.
