Who needs to go to a haunted house when you can make your own? Join us for a spooktacular afternoon as we make a miniature house that can be decorated for Halloween. Halloween related books will be available to read or for check out. It's ghastly, it's ghoulish - it's just plain fun! For ages 6 and up. All materials will be provided.

Get up and get creative at our Toddler Art and Stories! These 20-30 minute programs are full of books, songs and art activities that  are designed to help develop your child’s language and motor skills. After storytime, your child will participate in a process-oriented art project to explore art materials and the world around them. Process-oriented art focuses on what can be learned from the act of making art rather than the product.

Kids, Get a head start on Trick-or-Treating at the Parklands-Turner Neighborhood Library, Thursday, October 27 at 6:00 p.m. Come and learn about the history of Trick-or-Treat while making your very own kitty-cat or jack-o-lantern bag! After you make your bag, library staff will fill it with candy and you can take it home, along with your new few fun facts about Halloween! This event is for children ages 2 to 12. Parents, please feel free to join in the fun!
