Enjoy a special bilingual presentation of the Three Billy Goats Gruff/Los Tres Chivitos Gruff in English and Spanish in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Don’t miss this new spin on an old classic. Participants will enjoy seeing this story come to life as librarians act out the roles of the goats, the troll and the narrator. You don’t need to speak Spanish to enjoy this truly fun event for families.
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a special performance by DC's premier Latin dance company. With roots in traditional Mexican folk dance, Maru Montero is dedicated to promoting the joy and beauty of Latin culture in the United States. For kids of all ages and their caregivers. This performance will take place in the lower level meeting room.
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month Learn and practice the Argentine Tango with Bahman Aryana of Rendezvous Tango. This class will include a lecture demonstration and live music. All levels welcome.
