The Chevy Chase Library will be hosting a teen self defense workshop as part of our "Own the Night" teen summer reading program. The workshop will be on Aug. 22 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Our guest instructor from the self-defense organization Defend Yourself will teach:

This Saturday, July 7, we will be making keychains inspired by vintage videogames from the 80's. Use plastic fuse beads to make replicas of Pac-Man, Mario and other favorites! The program starts at 1 p.m. in the Teen Space.
At 2 p.m. this Friday, July 6, we will be screening the 2011 horror film Insidious as part of "Own the Night", our teen summer reading program. This movie is PG-13 and is open to teens 13 and older. Hope to see you there!
