Donald F. Richardson
Donald F. Richardson is a CPA and specialist in the areas of financial management, accounting, information technology and related services. He has more than 26 years of experience in sales, customer relations, and contract and personnel management. Richardson has provided clients with superior leadership during critical transition phases, including hiring professional and technical staff, developing strategic plans, implementing effective management information systems and directing complex projects.
Formerly a partner with KPMG, he was responsible for spearheading service delivery to several non-Department of Defense agencies, including the Executive Office of the President, Office of Personnel Management, and the Sergeant of Arms of the Senate, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, and the Department of Agriculture. Subsequently, Richardson joined BearingPoint, a management and technology consulting firm, where he was responsible for its metropolitan Washington state and local consulting practice. In this leadership role, he was responsible for the market development, service delivery and profit/loss management of opportunities with governments of the District of Columbia, Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties in Maryland and Fairfax and Alexandria Counties in Virginia. Richardson had direct executive involvement in several large ongoing projects, including the District of Columbia Financial Management System (SOAR), the District’s Integrated Court Case Management System, Arlington County (VA) Financial System Modernization Program, and Montgomery County (MD) Integrated Justice Information System as well as its Public Schools Financial System Modernization Program.
Currently, Richardson is a Sr. Principal with Thompson, Cobb, Bazilio & Associates where he is leads the Enterprise Resources and large system practice.
Richardson is actively involved in the community. In addition to his service on the Library Board, he currently serves on the DC Public Library Foundation Board, the District of Columbia Urban League Finance Committee, and is the Chair of the Finance Committee of the Shiloh Baptist Church.
