Hello. My name is Happy and, yes, I am happy. I am eager to please and not one to make a fuss. I go with the flow, you know! I heard some stories and enjoyed some gentle pats. I take my job as a PAL dog very seriously.
It was my first time at the library. It’s very relaxing there. My favorite part was listening to Miss Julie read Letters from a Desperate Dog by Eileen Christelow. It was hilarious! My tail wagged the whole time. I could certainly relate to the poor heroine’s troubles. And she was such an amazing typist! I am all paws myself when it comes to keyboarding.
Another story I liked was I Love Snow! by Hans Wilhelm. What fun I had at the library tonight! Maybe next time the kids and I can swap jokes. I love jokes, don’t you? Here’s one for you, from a great book called Wild & Wacky Pet Jokes & Riddles by Michael J. Pellowski .
Dew not tease the dog.
Smiles from a happy dog!
