Greetings! My full name is Aubrey Valentine. I am named for my beautiful auburn color and the fact that I was born close to St. Valentine’s Day. So, it is no surprise that I like to kiss, kiss, kiss. I kiss hands, and I kiss faces. I’ll kiss you, if you’d like!
Originally, I am from Chicago. I live in Bethesda now. It was my first time at the library, and I was touched by the warm hospitality. Many neighborhood families gathered to read to me and pet me and make me feel loved and special. I was a bit verklempt at the reception. The library is a place I belong!
My favorite story was The Adventures of Taxi Dog by Debra and Sal Barracca. I asked to hear it again and again! I also really enjoyed Big Dog and Little Dog Making a Mistake by Dav Pilkey. You wouldn’t believe the adventures those dogs got into!
I am proud to tell you that I am a PAL dog. I can not wait to get my bandanna!
