Hi. I am the new Westie on the block! Miss Julie did a double take when she saw me… I think she thought I was Nessie. Hee. Hee. I am a bit younger than Nessie, only six years old, and a bit longer. Like Nessie, I am a PAL dog.
It was my first time visiting the library, and the kids from Chevy Chase made me feel very welcome. I made many friends, and I made sure to tell them that I have a new best friend at home. His name is Max, and he’s an itty-bitty kitty who just came to live with us. I am very gentle with and kind to Max. I know some dogs are not so keen on cats; however, I love all living creatures.
After I introduced myself, Miss Julie read a great book called Art Dog by Thacher Hurd. Being artistically inclined myself, and with a name like Pablo, I thought it was an excellent choice! For the next hour, I heard many great stories. I particularly liked the Martha Speaks book called Toy Trouble by Karen Barrss and Dog Food Caper by Joan Lexau.
I can’t wait to go back to the library!
Happy wags,
Pablo
