From Nessie’s Diary: Wednesday November 10, 2010
Greetings! My name is Nessie and I am a ten-year old West Highland Terrier. Westies are known for being snow white in color. I, on the other hand, am a bit beige today. What can I say? I am a bit of a Tomboy and don’t mind getting dirty. In fact, I kind of like it!
I was so excited to see Miss Julie today. It’s my second time going to the library this week! Some of my PAL friends and I stopped by on Friday to read with a class of second graders from Lafayette ES. My social calendar was wide open that day, so I popped over to do my part. Miss Julie rewarded me with a sensational belly-rub. She knows just where I like it!
I heard lots of great stories tonight. I thought the photos in Wiliam Wegman’s Mother Goose by William Wegman were hilarious! I am embarrassed to say, I cannot recall any of the other titles. At 10 years old, my mind just isn’t what it used to be!
Toodles,
Nessie
