Hello! Harpo here or, The Big H., as some like to call me. It is true, I am big. I think I’m the biggest PAL dog that visits the library. Although since my new haircut, I look less-large. Miss Julie noticed right away!
And perhaps it is because I am a BIG dog that I so thoroughly appreciated hearing My Big Dog by Janet Stevens. And, as I am a dog on the move, I got a hoot out of Go, Dog, Go! by P.D. Eastman. I don’t imagine that I could fit into the speedy little yellow car the dog drives, but a fellow can dream! That car is the coolest!!
To sum up the evening, I enjoyed some stories and I enjoyed going on walks around the children’s section of the library, however my absolute favorite part of the night; Massage Me Moments. Ahhhh…. Bliss! I gave subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) hints and the kids knew right away what I wanted. Their little hands rubbed and patted me all over. It was like going through an automatic car wash (without the soap, water or machinery). That topped the night! I went home and slept like a baby.
Peace and Love,
The Big H (A.K.A. Harpo)
