The Francis A. Gregory Library welcomed George Norfleet on February 28. This was the final black history program for the branch. Norfleet is a local author who lives in the Hillcrest community of Washington, D.C. He is the author of A Pilot's Journey: Memoirs of a Tuskegee Airman Curtis Christopher Robinson. Curtis C. Robinson was also a resident of the Hillcrest Community and an American hero. Pilot's Journey talks about Robinson's life as a Tuskegee Airman.
Norfleet did a wonderful presentation about the life of Robinson and the history of the Tuskegee Airmen. The patrons enjoyed the presentation and had many interesting questions afterward.

Some patrons had the opportunity to take pictures with Norfleet and the interim branch manager,
Maria Perry.

Others who are pictured include: Eddy Faye Norfleet (George's wife), Elijah McMillan, Godot Gaskins, Javon Johnson (patrons of the library) and oan Pierotti (editor of A Pilot's Journey)
