I am a dainty, 9-year-old female, a mixture of many dog breeds, newly PAL certified, and eager to assist the readers in my community. I am on a special diet because I have allergies. I have been meaning to do a bit of research on allergies to find out what causes them and to learn about more treatments and remedies. On my nightstand, I have Allergies by Steve Parker, Food Allergies by Jason Glaser and Food Allergies by Christine Taylor-Butler. I think I may be allergic to having my picture taken, too! Is that possible? I was feeling a little dizzy and unwell after all the camera clicking going on at the library. I felt like a timid starlet swarmed by the paparazzi.
At the moment, I am more interested in reading about Haiku poetry than allergies. You see, the Cleveland Park Library is having a Haiku Poetry contest, and I would like to enter a poem of my own. I checked out Dogku by Andrew Clements for inspiration. Good reading makes for good writing, I hear. Wish me luck!
Always in Trouble by Corinne Demas was my favorite book I heard at the library tonight. The learning process never ends…
Best of Barks!
Bailey
