From Fenway’s Diary: May 3, 2011
Happy Birthday to me! Whoo-hooo! I just celebrated my 4th birthday. It is fantastic to be four. I had a fabulous doggie birthday party with some of my mates. We shared a lip-smacking peanut butter bone cake. Am I a lucky dog, or what?
And the good times keep rolling! Soon I’ll get to chase the seagulls on the beach. That’s one of my all-time-favorite summer activities. Life sure is good when you are a cherished Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
There were many kids to kiss at the library tonight. I love to give a kiss to say “Hello” and a kiss to say “Thank you” and a kiss to say “Goodbye” and a kiss when there is nothing much to say.
There were dog books galore at the library tonight! I heard Dogku by Andrew Clements, Dog Breath: The Horrible Trouble with Hally Tosis by Dav Pilkey, The Doghouse by Jan Thomas, and Larabee by Kevin Luthardt, to name a few.
I love being a PAL dog and working with Miss Julie at the library. It makes my heart sing. I think I might make one of the cool bracelets like the kids made tonight. On mine, I think I’ll write:

If you want to make a bracelet, then here’s what you need:
Supplies:
- 1 empty cardboard tape roll
- Rolls of colorful masking tape
- 2 foam decorative hearts
- 1 pair of scissors
- 1 glue stick
- Colorful markers
And here’s what you do:
- Cover the inside of the tape roll with masking tape.
- Decorate the outside of the tape roll with markers, tape and decorative hearts.
- Design and enjoy your personalized bracelet. Note: Miss Julie's bracelet read:
