Boy’s Night…! It was Big Boy’s Night at the library, and I fit right in. Weighing in at a mere 80 lbs of fur was Harpo, followed by a tie for heavy weight -– Freddie and I both tip the scales at 106 lbs. We may be the heftiest PAL dogs on Miss Julie’s roster!
It was my first time at the Takoma Park Library. I used to visit Miss Julie at the Chevy Chase Library. Dakota and I were her right-hand dogs when grade 2 Lafayette Elementary School students came to the library to read. I have missed my favorite librarian and was overjoyed to see her.
Unfortunately I missed the beginning of Clifford Goes to Dog School. There was much to smell outside the library! Happily, I did get to hear The Dog who Cried Wolf by Keiko Kasza, Ten Dogs in the Window: A Countdown Book by Claire Masurel, and The Adventures of Taxi Dog by Debra Barracca.
Kindly,
Kirby
