Stylin’! Oh, yeah. I looked groovy and felt fine in my Ben & Jerry’s scarf by artist Woody Jackson. He is the same artist who wrote and illustrated Counted Cows and A Cow’s Alfalfa-Bet .
Miss Julie adored my scarf! I knew she would. She grew up in the green mountain state of Vermont and the home of Ben & Jerry’s. I’ve been doing a bit of reading about Ben & Jerry’s. I read; Ben & Jerry’s Double-Dip: Lead with Your Values and Make Money Too by Ben Cohen and Ben & Jerry’s, the Inside Scoop: How Two Real Guys Built a Business with Social Conscience and a Sense of Humor. Quite impressive.
I’ve also been reading about Vermont. I learned a lot of good basic information from Vermont by Niels R. Jensen and Vermont by Jan M. Czech. I slobber all over Dishing Up Vermont: 145 Authentic Recipes from the Green Mountain State by Tracey Medeiros and found Tricking the Tallyman by Jacqueline Davies an enlightening little tale.
So many wonderful treasures come out of Vermont. I think it’s time for a ROAD TRIP!
Kindly,
Kirby, PAL dog extraordinaire
