Two El Día de los Niños Celebrations

Maru Montero Dancers/Story Time
El Día de los Niños/Children's Day is a celebration of language and literacy for children and families of all backgrounds. The Southeast Library will mark the occasion with two special events.
On April 26 at 4:30 p.m., the Maru Montero Dance Company performs Mexican and Latin American dances in the garden for children and their families.
On April 30th at 3:30 p.m. for a bilingual story presentation with Berlitz Language Learning. Children and their families will enjoy games, a simple craft and a Spanish rendition of the beloved classic If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff. The program is appropriate for children under 12 and their families.
