Friends of the Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Takoma Park DC Library will host a book sale and bake sale on the library lawn Saturday, May 5.  Stop by any time between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to browse a great selection of fiction, mysteries, nonfiction, children's books and more.  They will also have canvas bags and note cards from our centennial for sale.  Get there early for the best selection!
 

The Friends are also still looking for a few volunteers to help with set up and clean up.  Please stop by the library to sign up if you're interested in volunteering.  Proceeds of the sale will be used to help pay for great library programs throughout the year like our annual Eggstravaganza and Summer Reading programs and Winterfest.  Come over and get books at incredibly cheap prices. 

The scheduled rain date for the event is Saturday, May 12.
