Etiquette/Manners Classes

First Impressions Are Lasting Impressions
Ms. Vicki Fleming, certified etiquette trainer for children, will be holding classes for youth ages 6-8 in the month of May.
Though activities that encourage learning through movement and interaction with their peers, Fleming's classes will be address topics such as rudeness, good hygiene and teasing, in a conversational, upbeat and relaxed manner.
Classes will include role-playing, so children can practice practice proper manners and good social skills before encountering real-life situations.
Lessons will take place in the Children's Room:
- Wednesday, May 16, 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Lesson 1 -- Making Mistakes, Rudeness, Tack and Apologies
- Wednesday, May 23, 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Lesson 2 -- Good Communication Skills
- Wednesday, May 30, 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Lesson 3 -- Good Hygiene and Grooming
- Wednesday, June 6, 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Lesson 4 -- Dealing with Teasing and Bullies
All programs are free and open to the public.
