Embrace Joy of Reading With Lamman Rucker

We are proud to host actor Lamman Rucker, best known for his roles in Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns and Why Did I Get Married, and actress and playwright Mzuri Moyo in a workshop series at Woodridge, which is promoting the importance of reading in the performing arts.
The workshop starts at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 25.
Sponsored by the Nubian Theatre, Dance and Music Company and as part of the Third Annual D.C. Black Theater Festival, additional workshops are planned with actors from stage, screen and acclaimed TV shows such as The Wire:
