"The Ox-Bow Incident"

The West End Book Club will meet Tuesday, September 18, at 12:30 p.m. in the small meeting room on the second floor to discuss The Ox-Bow Incident  by Walter Van Tillburg Clark--the classic story of vicious mob justice set in the American West.  Copies are available at the reference desk.

There will be a screening of the film version of The Ox-Bow Incident at the library on Tuesday, September 25, at 1:30 p.m., as a tie-in with the reading/discussion of the novel.  The film, a 1943 Academy Award nominee, stars Henry Fonda, Dana Andrews, Henry Morgan, Anthony Quinn and William Eythe.  Running time: 75 minutes.
