Performance by Dennis Zotigh
Experience American Indian culture though song, dance, storytelling and oral history with a fast paced, exciting performance by Mr. Dennis Zotigh of the National Museum of the American Indian.
Mr. Zotigh is a Kiowa, San Juan Pueblo and Santee Dakota Indian who lives in Maryland. He is a descendant of Sitting Bear and No Retreat, both principal war chiefs of the Kiowas. Mr. Zotigh seeks to preserve the past, to broaden how American Indians are viewed in the present and to create new opportunities for Indian youth in the future.
The performance will take place in the Great Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. The event is free and all ages are invited. For more information, call 727-1281.
