Smashing Jim Crow in the Nation's Capital CANCELED

Noted historian C.R. Gibbs will speak on "Breaking the Phalanx:  Smashing Jim Crow in the Nation's Capital" at the Palisades Library on February 9, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. 

A light supper will be served at a reception immediately preceding Mr. Gibb's talk.  Books highlighting local history and the civil rights movement will be on display and available for checkout.
