Meditation for the New Year
In this busy, fast-paced world, a sense of peace can seem elusive. Start the new year off right with this workshop led by experienced meditator Karin Silverman, who will teach participants easy, effective techniques for eliminating stress and finding inner peace through meditation.
Perhaps you already practice meditation. Perhaps you are new to all this and have questions.
- What is meditation?
- How do I get started?
- When and where and how often do I have to practice this?
- Will it be harmful?
- What are the benefits?
Come find the answers to your questions in this brief workshop on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Karin Silverman is a long-time meditator, teaching meditation in the Greater Washington Metro area for several years. She is also a practicing message therapist in Silver Spring, MD.
