GED and High School Skills Tutoring

Do you need a high school diploma? Do you want to improve your reading, writing or math skills?

You can sign up for small group tutoring in our Adult Learning Lab.

To use the Adult Learning Lab, you must be 18 years of age or older and bring a past GED/CASAS exam, or take an assessment skills test with us. You can take an assessment at the Shaw/Watha T. Daniel Library (1630 7th St. NW) during our Wednesday hours from 4 to 7 p.m. or on our Saturday hours from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Starting the week of March 6, we our Adult Learning Lab services will be offered at the Mt. Pleasant and Shaw/Watha T. Daniel Libraries. For more info, please call 202-727-1616. Feel free to call us with any questions about this service.

Our Lab Hours are:
Mt. Pleasant Neighborhood Library, 3160 16th St. NW
Monday:          10 a.m. - 1 p.m. 
Wednesday:    10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Shaw Neighborhood Library, 1630 7th St. NW
Monday:          4 - 7 p.m.
Tuesday:         10 a.m. -1 p.m. and 4 - 7 p.m.
Wednesday:     4 - 7 p.m. 
Saturday:        10 a.m. -1 p.m.
