Anime Artists Ahoy!

Are you a kid or teenager who loves to draw? Do you know a kid or teenager who loves to draw?
If so, the Sackler Gallery of the Smithsonian is the place to be the first weekend in April!
On April 3 and 4 at 2 p.m., in honor of the annual Cherry Blossom Festival, the Sackler is celebrating anime and manga (Japanese-style animation and comics). Learn about the roots of anime and manga in the drawings of 19th-century artist Hokusai, and get feedback on your anime drawings
This event is designed for ages 8 to 14, accompanied by a parent. The event will be held in the Imaginasia classroom on the 2nd level of the Sackler Gallery, and is first-come, first-serve.
