New Anacostia Library: Now Open

The new Anacostia Library, 1800 Good Hope Rd. S.E., is now open. 

The new 22,000 square foot library opens with more than 40,000 books, areas for children, teens and adults, Mac computers for teens, 32 computers for the public, community meeting rooms and more.  Check it out.

A Grand Opening Party is planned for Saturday, May 8, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.  Story times, arts and crafts, performances and more.
