50th Anniversary Balloons

Countdown to the 50th Anniversary Celebration at Palisades Library on November 15!

The Palisades Library will celebrate 50 years at the V St NW location from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Library Director Richard Reyes-Gavilan will lead a keynote address beginning at 1:30 p.m. A special day of events is planned including technology workshops, local bands, and a puppet show!  See a 3-D printer in action and meet local community groups!  The day's events have been generously supported by the Friends of Palisades Library.

MLK Anime Club August Meeting!

To celebrate our Teens going back to school, we will show anime this month about students in high school!   Swing by the Teen Space from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30th to catch anime like Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun, Chronicles of the Going Home Club, ReLIFE, Haven't you Heard? I'm Sakamoto, K-On!, and anything you'd like to request, as always!   Don't forget - there will be snacks.

Teen Advisory Group

Need Community Service Hours? Consider joining Teen Advisory Group.  We are responsible youth ages 14-18 who help with service projects and plan teen events at the library.  We meet in Teen Space every Wednesday from 4:30-6:30 pm.  Snack is provided and no prior signup is necessary.
