June Gentle Yoga at Georgetown

Join our instructors Tuesdays at the Georgetown Neighborhood Library for a free one-hour yoga class. Our 10 a.m. gentle yoga class is designed to accommodate all skill levels and ranges of motion, especially targeting adults ages 55+.June class schedule: 6/7, 6/21, 6/28 ** No class on Tuesday, 6/14 **

Maker's Social Club: Mermaid Day!

New month, new theme: Join us for another edition of Maker's Social Club. We will be celebrating Mermaid Day!  We will be be creating all things mermaid using the design software Tinkercad and our 3-D printers.  There are limited spaces, so register online at bit.ly/labsclasses. For children 6 and older, teens and adults. Children ages 6- 12 must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times.

In this workshop, the DCPL Makers-in-Residence will introduce the concept of 3D scanning and imaging, which uses tools such as handheld IR scanners, attachments for cellphones, holograms, and downloadable cell phone apps that allow users to create 3D models of objects.

I Spy: Patterns and Puzzles for Teens, Tweens & Young Children

Every Tuesday after school, join the teens, tweens, and young children who test their visual, spatial, mathematical, and logical acumen, using mandalas; logical geometric and pictorial puzzles; LEGO; wooden blocks; and more.  I Spy Hours: 3:00-5:00 p.m.NOTE: Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied and actively supervised by a caregiver aged 13 years and older.
