In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we will be reading "Letter from Birmingham Jail" found in his book Why We Can't Wait.   We will explore Dr. King's idea of what is moral law and immoral law and why it is important to still be reading King.  "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

Pokémon Celebration Party!

2016 was a year packed with Pokémon, with Pokémon Go on mobile phones, the Pokémon Company celebrating its 20th anniversary, and the release of Pokémon Sun and Moon, the newest additions to the handheld games.  Let's start 2017 off Pokémon style - with a celebration! Join us in the Children's Room and Teen Spaces on Saturday, January 21, 3 - 5:30 p.m.  We will:   Screen a Pokémon movie on a big screen in the Programming Room adjacent to the Children's Room!
