With daylight savings time, it's a great opportunity to craft some lanterns and hear holiday stories about light, including Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Christmas. At 5:00 pm, we'll take our finished lanterns outside to light up in Book Hill Park behind the library and enjoy some hot chocolate in the glow of our lanterns. This program is recommended for ages 4 and up.
Join the Parklands-Turner Library Staff for a special Chinese New Year story time to celebrate the year of the Rooster!
Together we'll read stories about the Chinese New Year, learn how to celebrate Chinese New Year, and learn about the Chinese Zodiac!
