Celebrate National Games and Puzzles Week! We love to learn through play at Petworth. Below are special game lounge days when you can join us in the 2nd floor program room.   Tuesday, November 15 @ 4:30 p.m.: “Get a Clue!” Honestly, we bought awesome snacks to share for this Games and Puzzles Week kick-off, but a sneaky staff person has hidden them and left tricky clues behind. Only you can help us solve the clues so we can find and eat these snacks together!!!  For ages 7 -11

Giving Thanks

Get ready for Thanksgiving and start a Gratitude Journal. As the holiday season approaches, it is a lovely time to reflect upon our blessings and share them with others.  A simple "Thank You" goes a long way. There will be a read-aloud of Thanksgiving stories and a snack. All ages welcome.

These 20-30 minute story times are full of books, songs, rhymes and fingerplays for children birth to two years old. Our Baby and Toddler Story Time is a great way to introduce your child to language skills in a positive and fun environment. With slightly more activity and movement than our lap times, children and their grownups are encouraged engage with the books and songs and to actively participate in the program.

Etiquette for Kids!

The holiday season is upon us, and that means trips to visit family and friends both near and far. We are starting the Holiday season at the Francis Gregory Neighborhood Branch by hosting an etiquette class for children. Each child will learn the basics of etiquette for socializing and sharing a meal with their family and friends. We can't wait to see you there!
