Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a special performance by DC's premier Latin dance company. With roots in traditional Mexican folk dance, Maru Montero is dedicated to promoting the joy and beauty of Latin culture in the United States. For kids of all ages and their caregivers. This performance will take place in the lower level meeting room.

Join us for a special S.T.E.A.M. Team on Halloween. Come explore a mad scientist's lab, make slime, glow-in-the-dark paint, and help with spooky science experiments. All supplies are provided. Just bring yourself...if you dare! This event is for ages 6 & up. For children under 9, caretakers must stay in the building.

Art Night DC: Creative Postcards with Carlos Carmonamedina

Children will use collage, stencils, and paint to create postcards from Tenleytown, based on photos of representative buildings and monuments. The workshop is open to all ages, but young toddlers may need supervision from their caretakers. "Gravelly Point" is one of Carmonamedina's original postcard illustrations that highlights life in D.C. More can be found on his web site.
