Halloween "Mask-Making"

On the Friday before Halloween, the Northwest One Library will be making holiday masks in the children's room. Join us as we make masks and other cool and spooky crafts. We will have all the supplies you need to make your favorite Character or Super Hero themed masks, or you can feel free to make your very own special designed mask using your Imagination.

Listen to a story about a turkey who is invited to Thanksgiving dinner in A Turkey for Thanksgiving by Eve Bunting. Afterwards, children are invited to “save” a turkey by giving him a clever disguise—and creating a great story to go along with it. Ages 5-12.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Carl Fredricksen, a 78-year-old balloon salesman, is about to fulfill a lifelong dream. Tying thousands of balloons to his house, he flies away to the South American wilderness. But curmudgeonly Carl's worst nightmare comes true when he discovers a little boy named Russell is a stowaway aboard. Food, pillows, and blankets are welcome.

Maker's Social Club: Mickey Mouse Day

This month, Maker Social Club will be celebrating Mickey Mouse Day! Join us in making all things Mickey Mouse using the design software TinkerCAD and our 3-D printers.  Register at Registration will begin on November 1, 2016.  Children 6-12 must be accompanied by a guardian.
