Sing, play, dance and learn.That’s our motto for this program. Childrenof all ages will have the opportunity to play musical instruments, sing along with popular songs, dance to their favorite music, and learn the alphabet and how to count. This program is all about rhythm and speech stimuli that allow children to enjoy music.
Visit our PokeStop, battle at our gym, meet fellow trainers, make candy sushi, and watch some of your favorite Pokemon episodes here at the Francis A. Gregory Neighborhood Branch. Don't forget to check out our Pokemon anime collection and to turn in your summer reading game boards you've been working on all summer! Forgot to sign up for summer reading? No worries, there's still time left to sign up in between catching your favorite Pokemon!

Celebrate letter writing and mail delivery! Come listen to stories about writing letters and the postal service, then make your own postcards and stationery. Write a letter or draw a picture for someone special in your life. We'll provide envelopes and stamps so that mail is ready to send afterwards. Who will be the lucky recipients of the mail we'll create?For children 3-12. No registration is required.
Join us for a visit from DC Central Kitchen's Truck Farm for a hands-on gardening activity. See how to grow vegetables in small spaces.

Do you have what it takes for the Petworth All Stars Mini Golf Challenge? It will be an exciting end to maker month as we use some of the skills we learned this July in a two day extravaganza. Join us Wednesday July 27 and Thursday July 28 at 1:30 p.m. as we first build our mini golf course and then play on it. There will be special prizes and snacks on hand. For ages 9 and up unless accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
