Toddler Story Time

Get up and get moving at our Toddler Story Times! These 20-30 minute programs are full of books, songs and fun activities are designed to help develop your child’s language skills. Children ages 18-36 months and their grownups are encouraged to engage with the stories and activities and participate in the program along with the children. Tickets required; available on a first come basis the morning of the program.

Storytime & Firetruck Touch

As part of our Summer Reading Kickoff, join us for a storytime and fireman crafts at 10:30 a.m. At 11 a.m., we'll be joined by our neighborhood firemen and a fire truck for a truck touch. Children under 9 must be accompanied by a caregiver. Questions? Call 202-724-4691.

Join us at the Northwest One branch as we read stories and make special gifts for the special ladies in our lives. Mother’s Day is coming up, so make sure you have something special to give your Mother. Be sure to bring a picture of you and your mom or just you, so you can use it for the craft. We can make copies of pictures, or print them off if you would like.

Spend the summer showing off and creating some art! On Tuesdays throughout the summer children can visit Rosedale and enjoy a short story time and then an hour of arts and crafts.

We will provide you with plenty of information, promotional materials, and reading suggestions! West End Staff is excited to work with you over the Summer. Bring your family for fun and music.
