Get up and get moving at our Toddler Story Times! These 20-30 minute programs full of books, songs and fun activities are designed to help develop your child’s language skills. Children ages 18-36 months and their grownups are encouraged to engage with the stories and activities and participate in the program, grownups along with the children. The first session is at 10 a.m. and the second is at 11 a.m. Please plan to attend only one of the identical sessions.
French Story Time is for children of all ages. This program includes songs, music and motion and is very interactive. Children have the opportunity to learn French songs, practice their French, and connect words with motion, as well as enjoy stories. Come and join us every Thursday at 4 p.m.
A Burrito and a Donkey journey to the Fountain of Holy Guacamole, and discover that friendship is life's best ingredient! This bilingual show in English and Spanish is fun for the whole family.
**This special 11 a.m. program will take the place of both of our regularly scheduled Friday Bilingual Story Times.

Did you know September is Cat Month? Enjoy a story time all about cats and kittens, including a story about our one of our favorites, Pete the Cat! We’ll also have a special cat-themed craft afterwards!
Are you ready for school? You will be better prepared after this fun-filled and action-packed story time at the Parklands-Turner branch library on Tuesday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m.
We will read stories about going back to school and sing songs about buses and school. We hope to see you there!
The target audience for this exciting story time is preschool aged children and their caregivers, yet older children and families are welcome too.
An evening story time where pajamas are encouraged but not required. These 30-40 minute evening programs are designed to delight children of all ages. Filled with stories and activities that promote and develop language skills and imagination, these programs encourage children to develop a lifelong love of reading and learning.
A story time experience for our youngest library users and their caregivers. These 20-30 minute story times introduce books, songs, rhymes, tickles and bounces developmentally appropriate for children ages birth to when they start walking. Baby Lap Time is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the joys of reading in a positive and fun atmosphere. This story time is designed so the baby will be in their caregiver’s lap and the grownup is actively involved in the program; it is recommended that each child have their own adult with them.
