Wordless Book Preschool Story Time

Join us for an interactive Story Time that includes songs, rhymes and wordless picture books. Librarians will demonstrate ways to have fun conversations around picture books without words that develop early literacy skills such as vocabulary, sequencing, storytelling, and creativity. All of skills these will help little ones get ready to learn to read and ready for school.

10-Minute Stories

Join us for frightfully, funny, ghastly, scary tales told in 10 minutes or less.Tuesdays from 6-6:10 p.m. (ages 5-7) & 7-7:10 p.m. (Ages 8-10). 

Morning Glory Stories (Especially for Babies and Toddlers)

Rise, shine and join us for morning glory stories! Come enjoy books, songs, movement, rhymes and fingerplays. This story time program is for children under age 4 and their caregivers.  Groups of 10 or more, please call 202-727-5012 to schedule a special group story time.
