In honor of Black History Month, the Parklands-Turner library will host a special story time and information display featuring books written and illustrated by Jerry Pinkney.
Jerry Pinkney is an African American author and illustrator who has been the recipient of five Caldecott Honor Medals, five Coretta Scott King awards, and four Coretta Scott King Honor awards. The Parklands-Turner library staff is excited to share these wonderful works at Children's story time on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 10 a.m.
Join us at the Woodridge Library on Friday, October 29 at 3:30 p.m. for a Halloween Story Time for the whole family! We will read slightly spooky stories and dance some spooky dances! There will be a Halloween craft at the end!
Bring your family to the Woodridge Library on the third Saturday of each month for a Family Story Time! We will read, sing, and dance with our family and friends! Crafts/ activity will be provided at the end!
This program has temporarily moved to the Chevy Chase Library from the Cleveland Park Library.
French Story Time is for children of all ages. This program includes songs, music and motion and is very interactive. Children have the opportunity to learn French songs, practice their French, and connect words with motion, as well as enjoy stories. Come and join us at the Chevy Chase Library every Thursday at 4 p.m.
