Join us to discuss Astronaut Academy, an action packed comic book by Dave Roman. A customer described it as "a book about some cool kids who go to an astronaut school...and they all have different stories." As usual, we'll have snacks and an activity to accompany the discussion.
We will discuss The Cruisers by Walter Dean Myers. Myers has written over 100 books and was recently named the National Ambassador for Young People's Literature.

Copies of the book are available in the children's room.

Pick up a copy of Mr. Popper's Penguins at the Petworth Neighborhood Library; read the book at home, at school, at the library, or anywhere. . . then join us at the Youth Book Club meeting to talk about the book, watch a movie, and eat pizza!
