Halloween Movie Night

The Georgetown Neighborhood Library will be the showing the film, Ghostbusters on October 31, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. Watch as three unemployed parapsychologists, Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler, and their friend, Winston Zeddemore battle ghosts throughout New York City. As the world is threatened by the god of destruction, Gozer the Gozerian, these Ghostbusters must do everything to not let this happen. Please come and celebrate Halloween with us.

To celebrate two years of the DC Punk Archive project, we are screening the super punk (though not in DC) film, Ladies and Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains. This 1982 cult classic stars a very young Diane Lane and Laura Dern. The film will begin at 7 p.m. and runs one hour and 27 minutes.

MLK Anime Club August Meeting!

To celebrate our Teens going back to school, we will show anime this month about students in high school!   Swing by the Teen Space from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30 to catch anime like Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun, Chronicles of the Going Home Club, ReLIFE, Haven't you Heard? I'm Sakamoto, K-On!, and anything you'd like to request, as always!   Don't forget - there will be snacks.
