Fridays are TGIF for teens at Parklands-Turner Neighborhood Library: "Thank God It's Friday!" From 3:00-5:00 pm, Teens Get Inventive on Fridays with DIY activities, movies, and special programs.

Anime Club - May Meeting

Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library's Anime Club, held in Teen Space for those 13-19, will host its third meeting on May 25 from 5-7 p.m.  This month's theme will be Mecha Anime.  We will stream anime like Aldnoah.ZeroGargantia on the Verdurous PlanetGo Lion/Voltron, and Mobile Suit GUNDAM Iron Blooded Orphans. Swing on by for snacks, robots, explosions and a good time.  Hope to see you there!

May the Fourth Be With You - A Star Wars Celebration

The Palisades Neighborhood Library invites you to celebrate May the Fourth with all things Star Wars. ​Dressing up as your favorite Star Wars character is highly encouraged!  4:00-5:00 p.m.:  Make Star Wars themed crafts, decorate an edible Wookie Cookie, and test your lightsaber skills on our piñata. 5:00-7:15 p.m.: Settle in for a showing of Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens.  May the fourth be with you!
