Can I host an author talk/book signing at the DC Public Library?

How can I suggest a program?
You can find details about the Library's programming guidelines and the process for submitting a proposal at on our Program Proposals page.

How do I get my PIN number?
To get a PIN number for the first time, you must visit any DC Public Library. If you have forgotten your PIN, you may retrieve it online, if you gave us your email address when you signed up for your library card. If you have not registered your e-mail address, you must visit a library in person to reset your pin. You may register your email address at the same time. Please bring a photo ID so we can verify your identity. PIN numbers cannot be provided over the phone. This security measure protects your account.

How do I change my PIN number?
You must know your current PIN number. Go to the library catalog. Log in to your account.

Click on "My Account," "Personal Information" and "Change Pin."  Follow the instructions to change your PIN.

How do I reserve a meeting room?
You can call the Library to reserve a room, or you can reserve a room online. You can find out the room capacity and see other information about the room you’d like to reserve. Visit the meeting rooms page for more information.
