The District of Columbia Public Library (DCPL) is seeking a qualified Contractor to furnish and install UL 752 tested and rated Level 3: 1-1/4" TSS LP1250BR (laminated acrylic polycarbonate) glazing fabricated into clear satin anodized aluminum u-channel and flat stock at the Anacostia Library located at 1800 Marion Barry Avenue, SE. The product must meet the safety requirements of UL 752 Level 3 testing all while not altering the appearance nor performance of the building exterior.

Contract Description:
The District of Columbia Library has an immediate need to engage the services of Quinn Evans Architects (the “Architect” or “AE”) to provide additional Architectural and Engineering Design Services (“AE Services”) for Design-Build Services for the Renovation of Watha T. Daniel/Shaw Neighborhood Library located at 1630 7th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. The AE was competitively selected as the Design partner of Broughton Construction under Contract No. DCPL-2022-C-0030. The AE has diligently worked with DCPL and other stakeholders to complete the design from August 12, 2022, to March 3, 2023.
