DC Health Link Assisters from Community of Hope

Starting Oct. 28, Bellevue will host certified DC Health Link Assisters from Community of Hope every Monday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Assisters will be around to answer any insurance questions and help families enroll in a health plan.

Kids European Festival

October and November 2013

The Kids European Festival in Washington, D.C. is one of the largest arts and culture events in the United States. In conjunction with the European Union, the French-American Cultural Foundation, and corporate and private foundations, local cultural institutions like the Kennedy Center For the Performing Arts and DC Public Library are able present more than 200 family events. 

International Day of the Girl-Child

Girls across the world still do not have equal access to education. As often as possible, the availability of public libraries should be a venue from which to fight for education for everyone. Columbus Day Trivia
