Lego Playtime and Engineering Challenge Program

Georgetown Library

4 p.m.
Do you like to build with Legos and solve puzzles? Join us to work through engineering and science activities like, "who can build a paper airplane that carries the most cargo over 10 feet," or just come to build with Legos and relax after school. We'll have a different short science activity each week at the beginning and Lego building afterward. This program is recommended for ages 4 and up.

Summer Reading Kick-Off

Join West End on DC Public Library's First Day of Summer Reading when we will be showing  "Lego Movie" and celebrating with snacks! While you're here, we can help get you signed up to our online summer reading program in order to earn prizes for your reading and literacy activities over the summer. We welcome kids of all ages and can help adults sign up as well!

Pajama Movie Night: The Lego Batman Movie

We kick off our weekly Summer Pajama Movie Night Series with The Lego Batman Movie. If Batman wants to save Gotham from the Joker, he may have to drop the lone vigilante act, try to work with others and maybe learn to lighten up.  Food, pillows, and blankets are welcome.     Check out our summer movie lineup
