Homework Hour

Homework Hour is a space for students grades K-8 to get academic support. The tutors are high school volunteers that are here to help with homework or practice any skill. From reading to math, the student can get support with whatever they need help with. Tutoring will be held for two hours on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Book it to Health Summer Yoga Series with Alicia Hammond

This series of classes is designed to promote wellness and community. It will feature an open level vinyasa flow class that will connect a sequence of postures using the breath. The program will help to demonstrate how yoga can be used as a tool to build body awareness, strength and most importantly, mindfulness. The series is targeted towards adults and teens. Each program will last one hour. Bring a mat and water with you (a limited supply of mats are available for using at the library). Weather permitting, the class will be held on the terrace level of the library.
