Panel Discussion Includes Authors John and Maud Casey
Author Elizabeth Benedict presented her newest literary project at the Chevy Chase Library on November 9. A capacity crowd of 65 attendees heard Benedict, Maud Casey and John Casey read from their entries in the book Mentors, Muses & Monsters: 30 Writers on the People Who Changed Their Lives, edited by Elizabeth Benedict. Free of charge. A discussion is held after each film for those interested in attending. Almost every Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. Note: There will not be a film showing on October 12 (Columbus Day) nor November 16. Film showings take place in the 2nd floor Meeting Room.
The Chevy Chase Book Club will next meet on Monday, November 2, at 7 p.m. The book Saturday by Ian McEwan will be discussed. Copies of this book are available at the library. No need to sign up in advance, just come!
