Knit & Lit Club

Do you like to knit, crochet or embroider?  Are you a reader?  Yes to one or both?  Then, join our Knit & Lit Club, which meets on Saturday afternoons at 3 p.m. for fun, conversation, knitting, and needlework and the chance to hang out.  We are an informal group -- no registration required.  Just show up -- open to all skill levels.  Hopefully, we can share patterns and stories!  The first meeting is on Saturday, January 28th.

Family Origami Activity for Valentine's Day

Join us for an origami activity with a Valentine's Day theme! We will make paper hearts on Thursday, February 9, at 7:30 p.m.  The activity is family-oriented, but anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.

The Georgetown Children's Book Review

The book is an fun and delightful read, which takes you on a Saturday journey in post-WWII New York City (1941) with four sophisticated and adventurous children.Each character brings his/her own lively personality, and the children meet interesting characters on their separate Saturday journeys.The book will have you smiling and maybe a little nostalgic.

Wednesday Downloadable Media Clinics

We know that downloading library e-books and audiobooks can be confusing, even for the tech-savvy among us. That is why we offer personalized assistance on a drop-in basis every Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. Need help checking out digital materials, downloading them, registering your library account or transferring library media to your e-book reader or MP3 player? Stop by the second floor conference room at lunchtime on Wednesday, and we'll get you sorted out.  Bring your device and your library card number with you.
